Hope you guys had a nice Thanksgiving! I sure did. Hung around with the family, had a rather early dinner. Early, but still tasty.
Now for some updates:
I decided to boot up a video synthesizer program called “Cathodemer,” which is also a CRT simulator. I wanted to try out making 90s rave and acid house visuals, since a big part of my art is nostalgia. So, I learned a bit about Cathodemer, particularly learning how to have the visuals react to audio, and I pumped this video out. I love how it came out, but I have a feeling there’s more to rave videos than just using a video synth.
Also:
I’m getting back into making VHS vids. This is the first one I’ve done since “Becky at the Beach,” and since I got my current computer setup. Thanks to the current setup and a few splitters, recording vids will be much, much easier.
Lastly:
“Alexandrite”
“Opal”
Following my “Funk Science” project, I decided to do another musical project, this time, focusing on music inspired by anime and Japanese video games from the late 80s to mid 90s. The name of this project is “Eyecatch.” Unfortunately, I only made two tracks, but I’m not done with this EP yet.
