• Been sitting on this idea for a while, and I guess it’s time out bring it out into the wild. Yes, this is an Ol’ Dirty Bastard reference, and yes, it does look like a T-shirt design. That’s because it is. I plan on making this into a T-shirt and a poster, although, I’m not sure what else I can make this into, but you can bet your ass this will be made into a T-shirt, and it will be…

  • Today’s speedpaint, which is just a lion girl with a hunting rifle. Despite her looks, she’s not in the military. Instead, she lives in a post-apocalyptic setting where society has crumbled and the world has been ravaged by an endless war. Or, a zombie apocalypse has occurred, and she is one of few living survivors. Check out the process here!

  • In the far future, humanity will cease to exist. How we will go extinct is anyone’s guess, but it’s often speculated that cockroaches will rise up and maybe evolve to be on top of the food chain, and I imagine this will be their queen (I know cockroaches don’t have queens. Let me have some fun here.). She dresses all skanky, because I imagine the planet will be one, big-ass ghetto after the shit has hit the fan. Sure, the…

  • It’s weird. I don’t get the opportunity to draw a red panda, or a jiangshi. That’s usually because neither are in my head until I come across something that makes me think of those things. I guess I should do daily prompts after all. Check out the process here:

  • Today’s speedpaint. So, since Sunday’s stream will be focused on carnivals and the like, I thought back to this one clip from Maximum Exposure, where this one dude and his assistant were performing all sorts of tricks in front of an audience, including the guy carving his name into an apple held in his assistant’s mouth… using a chainsaw. God, I love Max X! Check out the process here:

  • So, this speedpaint was supposed to be released yesterday, but real life kinda got in the way of me working on it, so here it is. Late, but it’s here! Since last stream’s subject was magic, I decided to blend that with the mid-week subject of scary animals. I saw “milk snake” on a list of scary-looking animals that are pretty much harmless, and proceeded to learn a bit about them. Apparently, despite looking like the highly venomous coral snake,…

  • God, do I love incorporating winding forms into my art. This is the subject of today’s speedpaint, a Malabari goat with the ability to stretch her body like rubber, totally not inspired by Dhalsim from Street Fighter. Sort of unrelated, but I was listening to some ethnic electronica whilst I was drawing this, and it felt right to add it into the speedpaint. Not to mention, I’m in the middle of searching for sounds used in Dragonball Z Budokai 3,…

  • Last speedpaint of the week, this time, featuring an aardwolf. I kinda messed up the shading of the left leg, but I’m still happy with how it came out. Also, I learned about the Fingertip subtool in CSP. It’s essentially their version of Photoshop’s smudge tool, so whenever I wanna paint a fire, I’ll know what to use. Check out the speedpaint here:

  • It’s that time again! A new speedpaint, this time, featuring an emerald cockroach wasp. I chose this one after running through a list of scary animals, and if you know, you know. This picture also gave me the chance to dive into a little humor, especially with how I draw male characters. Check out the progress below:
