God, do I love incorporating winding forms into my art.

This is the subject of today’s speedpaint, a Malabari goat with the ability to stretch her body like rubber, totally not inspired by Dhalsim from Street Fighter.

Sort of unrelated, but I was listening to some ethnic electronica whilst I was drawing this, and it felt right to add it into the speedpaint. Not to mention, I’m in the middle of searching for sounds used in Dragonball Z Budokai 3, several of which belong to EastWest and Zero-G, who have sample libraries dedicated to Asian Fusion and the like. Just thought I’d add that in.

  • Last speedpaint of the week, this time, featuring an aardwolf.

I kinda messed up the shading of the left leg, but I’m still happy with how it came out. Also, I learned about the Fingertip subtool in CSP. It’s essentially their version of Photoshop’s smudge tool, so whenever I wanna paint a fire, I’ll know what to use.

It’s that time again! A new speedpaint, this time, featuring an emerald cockroach wasp. I chose this one after running through a list of scary animals, and if you know, you know. This picture also gave me the chance to dive into a little humor, especially with how I draw male characters.

  • Timelapse is out!

  • This one took a bit. This is the first speedpaint of the week, which will be released tomorrow. I picked a jellyfish, because according to some website, jellyfishes are associated with time. To me, it makes sense, since last I checked, they’re practically immortal.

I did boomer a bit on this, though. I accidentally streamed this on Picarto.tv. Good thing Picarto allows me to save streams and download them.

Last speedpaint of the week, a black widow woman.

When drawing this chick, I was pondering if she should be either African, Caribbean, or Brazilian, since she has a bit of an exotic design. I really need to get Dummythicc off the ground.

My part for The Road to El Dorado Reanimated project.

I managed to get the JoJo style down as well. I need to practice muscles. I also did the music, too.

  • Here’s the second speedpaint of the week.

Since the last stream was ghosts, and the upcoming stream is based on phobias, I decided to go with a fearsome monster for this one, hence the scary-looking komodo lady. I’m proud of how she came out, even though I spent an obscene amount of time rendering her right leg, head, and mount.

  • The first of this week’s speedpaints, the spirit of a tribal wolf woman. It’s not very Halloween-like, but I had fun drawing her. When will I ever get the chance to incorporate abstract designs into a character ever again?

  • Released the last speedpaint of the week today on Youtube.

I picked a ghost bat, since this week’s Lab Stream topic will be based on ghosts, since Sunday will be October 1st.

I also came up with an idea to solve the auction problem:

I hope it goes well tonight.
