    New character who dis?

Working on a new stream overlay. Will be completed by Thursday.

    Here’s another asset:

  • Today’s speedpaint, which is just a lion girl with a hunting rifle. Despite her looks, she’s not in the military. Instead, she lives in a post-apocalyptic setting where society has crumbled and the world has been ravaged by an endless war. Or, a zombie apocalypse has occurred, and she is one of few living survivors.

In the far future, humanity will cease to exist. How we will go extinct is anyone’s guess, but it’s often speculated that cockroaches will rise up and maybe evolve to be on top of the food chain, and I imagine this will be their queen (I know cockroaches don’t have queens. Let me have some fun here.). She dresses all skanky, because I imagine the planet will be one, big-ass ghetto after the shit has hit the fan. Sure, the Earth will go through a self-cleaning process, but there will be some leftover buildings and what not. Y’know, your typical post-apocalyptic setting.

  • Made an electro track. Even though the Fury 800 is an emulation of the Korg Poly 800, I am of the opinion that the Poly 800 was made for electro music.

  • It’s weird. I don’t get the opportunity to draw a red panda, or a jiangshi. That’s usually because neither are in my head until I come across something that makes me think of those things. I guess I should do daily prompts after all.

Wanted to pump out another track, this time focusing on the Y2K aesthetic. I went for a trance-y vibe, using my Yamaha TG500 and Korg TR-Rack in some places, while using VST emulations of late 90s synths to match the vibe.

By the way, a lot of these synths were used in a lot of games made by Sega at the time.

  • Made a track using the JD-990 as the bass instrument. I made it after picking “downtempo” from a wheel of other genres.

Just a sketch of a female Machop and a female Timburr. I don’t post fan art often, but I’ll make exceptions on the blog aspect of this site. I love shortstacks.

  • Today’s speedpaint.

So, since Sunday’s stream will be focused on carnivals and the like, I thought back to this one clip from Maximum Exposure, where this one dude and his assistant were performing all sorts of tricks in front of an audience, including the guy carving his name into an apple held in his assistant’s mouth… using a chainsaw. God, I love Max X!

    “Chicks dig power tools!”

  • So, this speedpaint was supposed to be released yesterday, but real life kinda got in the way of me working on it, so here it is. Late, but it’s here!

Since last stream’s subject was magic, I decided to blend that with the mid-week subject of scary animals. I saw “milk snake” on a list of scary-looking animals that are pretty much harmless, and proceeded to learn a bit about them. Apparently, despite looking like the highly venomous coral snake, milk snakes aren’t poisonous, no matter how much they want to be, so I decided to make her into an alchemist who deals with toxins.
